Provides product information support within the Drug Information Center, Medical Information Dept. for Company products.
Individual will be responsible for pr! oviding information to both health care practitioners and patients.
Ability to communicate on professional level with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other professional staff when discussing products.
As part of Medical Information team, the individual will be responsible for the assuring of complete and balanced medical information for Company products.
General knowledge of information technology and integrates potential applications to assess medical information delivery.
When necessary, captures and reports adverse event and product quality complaints to Global Pharacovigilance.
Updates and ensures compliance to medical information standard work practices and procedures.
Individual must have appropriate training and sensitivity to legal and regulatory issues for medical information.
Pharm. D. with a minimum of 3-5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in medical information or medically related respon! sibilities.
Experience in intravenous drug preparatio! n preferred.
