Description: Francis Parker Memorial Home is currently seeking to employ Registered Nurse, Piscataway NJ 11pm - 7am Shift right now, this career will be placed in New Jersey. SUMMARY: Supervises and performs direct and indirect resident care as specified by physician orders according t! o polices and procedures. Provides direct professional nursing care for the comfort and well being of the resident. Assigns primary nursing care duties to C.N.A's and supervises job performance and responsibilities. Assesses and documents medical and emotional status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention.
Makes frequent resident rounds to observe nursing care and to ensure that care is provided according to physicians orders, policy and Dept. of Health reg's. Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents and reports any adverse reaction to RN Mgr, DON & physician. Responsible for maintaining and keeping medical records,including electronic charting.
Starts IV's, assess resident pain and attends pre-admission, IDCP and family meetings as required.Other duties as assigned and/or required.24 hours per week (Benefit Eligible); 11pm to 7am. Includes every other weekend
