Job Purpose
RN mee ts the physical, emotional, and social needs of students by promoting and providing healthy practices. Since the nurse's of! fice if located within the main office, this person would also assist in answering phones & greeti ng and assisting parents. May maintain student medical & immunization records . Hours 8am â€" 2pm year, full time, year round. This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. - Duties :
- Promotes health care by publicizing health issues and preventive measures; providing information and resources; counseling students; presenting seminars and training.
- Evaluates health status by conducting individual examinations and assessments.
- Keeps parents/guardians informed by providing information and advice.
Maintains student confidence by keeping information confidential.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains safe and healthy environment by enforcing organization standards and legal regulations.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societie! s.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
