Description: Seniors Helping Seniors(R) is currently interviewing Director of In-Home Services right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. The Director of In-Home Services for Seniors Helping Seniors® of Somerset County is a member of the Senior Management Team with primary responsibility for patient care. As such you will provide, arrange for, teach, and supervise care of patients in a home health services setting. You will also identify and discriminate between physical and psychological signs and symptoms essential to effective execution and management of the nursing regime within the scope of practice of your license and respond to signs, symptoms, and processes that denote the individual’s health need or reaction to an actual or potential health problem. Also provides health counseling and emotional support to individuals, families and groups. Consults with and refers families to appropriate personnel within the agency or other community services. Develop policies and procedures and manage relationships with HHA’s, Families and Referral Sources in a manner that promotes good will and stellar customer service. Develops the care plan through assessment and develops and manages effective processes to ensure consistent, quality focused, service delivery through planned and implemented Quality Visits, training and analysis of services provided. The position requires strict adherence to the NJ Board of Nursing and State and Federal regulations and Seniors Helping Seniors policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing, OR Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- Current New Jersey Drivers License
- Basic computer skills
- Not less than 3 years Home care experience preferred
- CHAP certification or other accreditation experience is a plus.
