The role
DevOps Engineer @ InterEast
We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our existing IT & Infrastructure team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and development & deployment pipelines.
Your primary responsibility will be to support, scale, and secure our platform, which serves as both an external product and a critical internal system. You will work closely with our IT lead, software developers, and other members of the company to ensure that our applications are delivered efficiently, securely, and with the highest quality.

Key responsibilities:

Design and implement our cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment and testing pipelines using Terraform and other CI/CD tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues.
- Ensure the security and availability of our applications by implementing best practices and conducting regular assessments.
- Manage and maintain our database systems, including MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with software developers to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Continuously improve our systems and processes to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
- Assist the rest of IT team in technical support to other members of the company as needed.

No size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following criterias:
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Database Administration (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), CI/CD Pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Great spoken and written communication skills in English and Swedish
Not necessary but a big plus:
- Background as SysAdmin
