Job Summary : The person hired for the position of Perioperative Clinical Specialist will lead the way in detecting, preventing and controlling the risk of infection. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual with expertise in the Operating Room. The primary role is to drive the growth of 3M Perioperative products in the Northeast Inland Region. This position will support sales representatives on all 3M Perioperative products. They will provide in-servicing, education, product training, demonstrations and installation assistance to customers. Primary Responsibilities: Marketed Product Support Provide clinical support to sales representatives and customers on the IPD Peri-operative products including: Surgical preps, scrubs, clippers, and drapes Patient warming blankets and gowns Fluid warming products Professional Education Deliver Continuing Education (CE) presentations at hospitals and local professional association chapter meetings Lead joint clinical calls with sales representatives on customer calls requiring in depth clinical discussions with OR managers and directors, surgeons, and anesthesia providers. Actively participates on Sales Business Teams Delivers clinical training at regional sales meetings Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university Active/unrestricted nursing license to practice in any state Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Circulating Nurse in an Operating Room environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a Nursing discipline from an accredited institution Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Circulating Nurse in an Operating Room environment Experience with public speaking and/or delivering clinical presentations CNOR Certification from the Competency & Credentialing Institute Industry experience providing sales support and working with sales representatives in the field Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Microsoft Office proficient Location: Remote Based - Morristown, NJ and/or Albany, NY Travel: May include up to 80% domestic/international Relocation: Is not authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
