The primary responsibilities of this role, Clinical
Support Specialist, are to:
Strategic Planning:
Primary focus on high-priority
customers in Area hospitals, transplant centers and large oncology
accounts;
Contribute to strategic plan and
implementation of Area growth strategy;
Educate Sales Consultants and Regional
Managers on emerging concepts in Oncology and
Hepatology;
Serve as disease and product expert to
sales training.
Commercial Key Opinion Leader
Develop:
Build productive work relationships
externally;
Cultivate strategic, long term,
productive relationships with Nursing KOLs and mid-level providers
in Oncology and Hepatology;
Develop strategy and pull through
educational opportunities for targeted hospitals, transplant
centers and large accounts;
Exhibit strong communication skills
and persuasive abilities;
External Business
Liaison:
Serve as a liaison, educator and
promotional conduit to Oncology and Hepatology Health Care
Professionals;
Educates, persuades, and articulates
favorable position for Bayer Oncology product
portfolio;
Take lead on project
initiatives;
Exhibit strong problem solving
skills;
Provide Key Opinion leader’s
feedback to Bayer Internal Partners;
Business Results
Orientation:
Disseminate approved product education
and communicates favorable positioning for Nexavar and
Stivarga;
Act as key contributor to revenue
generation;
Exhibit strong persuasive
communication and interpersonal skills;
Possess advanced clinical knowledge in
Oncology and Hepatology;
Articulate scientific concepts into a
cohesive presentation to enhance sales;
Display self-starter
mentality;
Exhibit excellent presentation and
platform skills;
Demonstrate business
acumen
Coaching and Leadership:
Position Bayer portfolio
favorably;
Develop and leverage customer
partnerships into strong value proposition;
Generate clinical conviction for
oncology portfolio;

Demonstrate accountability for actions

Portray understanding of
reimbursement, healthcare trends and public
policy;
Educator:
Exhibit deep knowledge of Oncology
Products and Disease States;
Educate Health Care Professionals
regarding Oncology Products and Disease States;
Serve as Bayer internal cross
functional partner to Oncology Specialists and Regional Managers by
providing product and technical support;
Act as clinical resource to Oncology
BU.
Up to 60% overnight
travel.

following:
Required Qualifications:
Strong clinical expertise in
Oncology/Hepatology;
Registered Nurse required, Bachelor's
of Science in Nursing preferred;
Must be able to handle extensive
travel;
Strong business
acumen;
Advanced ability to think
strategically;
Ability to work with a
team;
Collaborative leadership
skills;
Three (3+) years nursing experience,
preferred in indicate therapeutic field Oncology for
TKI;
Industry experience a
plus;
Ability to work with
teams.
