Organize and administers individualized age specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. S! upports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
Requirements:
Current and active NJ RN licensure required
BLS Certification required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Adaptability, flexibility, and reliability
Minimum one (1) year experience in area of specialty required
Sucessful completion of required orientation and competencies.
Additional certifications may be required
