HEDIS Project Registered Nurse

One of the premiere providers of managed care services for people with Medicare, a NCQA accredited organization, is searching for a HEDIS Project Registered Nurse to join their team o! n a this special project.

Positions available in Atlantic, Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties.
In this position you will:
Conduct medical record data abstraction for select HEDIS measures
Review and follow-up on HEDIS reports to maximize scores
Collaborate with internal departments as appropriate
Conduct telephonic outreach to members in order to improve member compliance with selected HEDIS measures
Enter data into existing databases
Coach provider office staff on data collection, trend and key driver analysis
Maintain files on databases, reports and supporting documents
Requirements
Please be advised that we are only considering nurses with the following:
Current RN Licensure
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in health care
At least 1 year experience with data abstraction, qua! lity studies, or reporting
Knowledge of NCQA, HEDIS and ma! naged care preferred
Proficiency with medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS and ICD-9 coding
Proficiency in data entry (with minimal errors)
Professional attitude and team player, with ability to work independently
Excellent phone/communication skills
Ability to comprehend technical documents
