Location: Cherry Hill New Jersey

Description: Rydek Professional Staffing is looking of Director of Nursing right now, this occupation will be placed in New Jersey. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. Our Client located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, a Busy Skilled Nursing Facility with a Large Sub-Acute Unit, is seeking an Experienced DON.

DON must have at least 3 or more years’ experience helming busy Skilled Facilities, have a proven track record of increasing census, reducing overtime and staying under budget & must be very involved and Hands on Style desired! Should have experience with Clinical Staff Assignations, demonstrated record of good survey histories & stable tenure.

Strong RN Support Staff, strong Ancillary Staff- New Leadership in place and exceptional corporate support provided as well.

DON Expertise must include:

• Assessing & Auditing Nursing Care: must be able to directly manage optimum delivery of nursing care and recommend and implement improvements as needed.
• Prepare QI reports/other reports vital to Quality Resident Care and submit reports to Administrative Management to include accomplishments, areas of concern and corrective actions for improvement
• Plan, organize & coordinate work programs & schedules for Nursing Department: Sub Acute Unit experience required.
• Lead Survey Prep and Review Processes for DHSS Surveys,
• Familiar with Corporate Reporting Structures and very comfortable with EMR and MS Office Tools.

Requirements:
Experience in Larger facilities with Specialized Units; Sub- Acute Experience Required. AD or BSN Degree required- Advanced Nursing Degree preferred- and 3 or more years current experience as Skilled Nursing Facility DON. New Jersey RN License Required.
