The Boeing Global Services - Government organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Agent to join the Supplier Management team located in Mesa, AZ. The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket repair services in support of defense platforms in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization. This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.

Position Responsibilities:
Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of stand-alone repair orders.
Works with internal and external customers to formalize procurement requirements.
Prepares and executes contractual documents and binding agreements in accordance with Government regulatory requirements and Boeing procedures.
Formulates strategy and leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Manages supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions.
Communicates across functions, programs, and suppliers to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunities.
Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience in performing data analysis
  • Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Experience working both independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
  • Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service


Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or experience.

Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

This position is for 1st shift.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.

Summary pay range:

$51,850 - $70,150
