Summary
Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of operations for Substance Use Disorder treatment services, including business development, personnel management, fiscal management, strategic planning, developing KPIs, contract management, and long-range planning of business affairs in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief of the Division of Addiction Medicine. This role will oversee the daily operations of substance use disorder treatment programs, providing consultation for emergency department and hospitalized patients, and managing operations and strategic planning for drop-in clinics and patient access call-line (SUN “warm-line”).
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.
1. Oversee daily operations of Substance Use Disorder treatment programs, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services for patients.

2. Support development of strategic plans, establish priorities and articulate a shared vision for Substance Use Disorder services in partnership with appropriate stakeholders.
3. Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
4. Manage program budget, resources, and staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
5. Provide supervision, guidance, coaching, and support to program staff as needed.
6. Collaborate with emergency department and hospital staff to provide timely consultation and support for patients with substance use disorders.
7. Oversee the operation of the drop-in clinic, and SUD “warm-line,” ensuring adequate staffing, resources, and accessibility for patients.
8. Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and reach.
9. Monitor and evaluate program performance, using data to inform ongoing improvements and adjustments.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
11. Represent the program in meetings, conferences, and other forums, promoting its services and advocating for individuals with substance use disorders.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Required Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Nursing (MSN), or Public Health (MPH) or related fields.
Required Experience: Seven years of healthcare experience.
