We are a busy surgery center currently seeking a Registered Nurse who will be responsible for performing pre-operative telephone calls to patients to ascertain information and to review pre-operative instructions . This pre-operative interview process includes questions concerning the patients medical history, surgical history, physical condition, medications, and allergies. Nurses will also input patient information into EMR system and assemble patients chart and forward to the appropriate department.
This is an office position Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm or Part-Time 3 days/week.
Required Skills:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.
Prior experience in perioperative nursing.
Current BLS and ACLS Certification
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Bilingual candidates (Korean or Spanish) encouraged to apply.
