Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a per diem, days/evenings, Nursing Assistant at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, Mother/Baby unit.
Position Summary: Assist in delivery of nursing care through participation in the nursing process. Obtains vital signs,! assist patients with ADL’s as needed, participate in mealti! me monitoring and preparations for meals. Chart in patient records as appropriate. Assist with maintaining unit environment.
Qualifications:
All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification for Healthcare Provider
- Completion of UAP course or Nursing 101
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures
- Ability to speak effectively with patients, families and co-workers
- Six months of Nursing Assistant experience or currently enrolled in LPN/RN nursing program with successful completion of Nursing I
