Qualified Candidates will require:
3+ years a BA/Analyst in IT â€"
a. Desig! ns and implements current/future state workflows/mapping by interacting with department representatives to analyze needs and translate code mappings for system (systems mapping design) to ensure EMR system configuration ensures clinical diagnosis is captured as well as codes for billing.
b. Coordinates and facilitates meetings with stakeholders and departments SME’s as assigned
2. 5 years Healthcare experience (provider or payer) with ICD9 code exposure
a. Code exposure can be from clinical side -nurse or systems analyst supporting a health system with ICD9 codes
b. Code exposure can be from Billing/claims side â€" worked in a Finance capacity; or a coder
3. Previous acceptance testing/development of testing plans is a plus
