This is a unique opportunity within Prudential Group Insurance â€" Disability Claims for an experienced business leader.

The Director, Behavioral Health Unit will develop and lead a new medical/clinical unit to improve the focus on behavioral medicine claims and their unique challenges. The inc! umbent will interact with all levels of the disability managem! ent team and report directly to the Chief Medical Officer. This position requires an individual with a strong background in process analytics, design and implementation and the ability to deliver sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities:
Create Behavioral Health Unit

Employs strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.

various process improvement tools and methodologies to define business practices and process changes that are aligned with business objectives

Develop measures and metrics documenting the status and impact of this unit to the management of disability claims.

Leads a team of clinicians focused on providing consulting services to internal constituents on behavioral medicine claims

Works with multiple business resources and subject matter experts, leads problem-solving to surface opportunities! and solutions to improve business processes and management systems

Partners with business leaders to fully document required workflows and launch the new unit.

Assures process enhancements align with risk and control environment.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (additional locations include Roseland, NJ; Scottsdale, AZ; and Portland, ME) This is a unique opportunity within Prudential Group Insurance â€" Disability Claims for an experienced business leader.
