Our Hospice nurses care for patients in Atlantic and Cape may coun! ties in South Jersey. Must provide own transportation will be reimbursed for mileage. Current NJ RN license, BLSHCP required.
The hospice and palliative care nurse (HPC RN) provides care to patients in the final stages of life, managing pain and other symptoms in collaboration with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other health workers. Hospice RNs typically work in an in-home basis with terminally ill patients, while palliative care nurses treat patients with longer prognoses and typically practice in hospitals, assisted-living facilities, nursing homes, and rehabilitation units.
