Celerion , located in Neptune, NJ is currently seeking a part-! time/variable scheduled RN or LPN, Safety Nurse .

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring the ongoing safety of the volunteers who participate in our clinical research studies.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Implementing emergency measures
• Responsible for adverse drug experience assessment, evaluation, collaboration of medical care, documentation and follow-up during study conduct or until resolution
• Reporting abnormal vital signs or unusual adverse events in study participants
• Assisting in the study design and time/events schedules involving special medical procedures
• Overseeing and coordinating contract nurse training

Qualifications include:

• RN (must be licensed in NJ)
• Must be certified to perform, monitor, and train invasive and non-invasive dosing procedures
• Minimum of one-year clinical experience with assessment skills
Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic (EMT-P) or Respirator! y therapist (RT) with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or other emergency experience is preferred
• Current CPR certification

We are seeking candidates with the ability to work a flexible schedule. This position will include Monday through Sunday hours. **Bilingual preferred**
