The Patient Observer/Safety Sitter is responsible for providing a safe environment for patients who are on One-to-One Supervision for Safety or ! Suicide Precautions. In the event that there is not a One-to-One Supervision Case on a scheduled day, the Safety Sitter will be assigned to do transport of patients or assigned to assist with positioning patients.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
[Desired education]
Nurse's Aide Training preferred.
[Minimum work experience]
Minimum work experience: able to work with various age groups
[Desired work experience]
1-2 years hospital experience
[Required licenses/certifications]
Basic Life Support (BLS)
[Required skills]
Excellent communication skills
[Valid drivers license required]
