Admissions Nurse

The Full-time Admissions Nurse is a registered nurse and an Interdisciplinary Team Member whose primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in the admission of appropr! iate patients. This position is based out of the VITAS Hospice program located in Shewsbury, NJ.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years working experience as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years.
Must be currently licensed as a RN in the state where the VITAS program is located.
Knowledge of clinical manifestations of diseases and ability to develop VITAS specific clinical knowledge.
The full-time Admission Nurse will have a flexible schedule with the ability to rotate various days during the week and on weekends from 1230pm-9pm.
Must have moderate to strong computer skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college/university with consideration also given to international equivalent.
ADN required.
Previous oncology experience preferred.
Previous sales experience preferred.
