Responsible to the Administrative Director for Nursing Operations. Functions as house wide operational s! upervisor of nursing services, clinical resource person, and responsibility for nursing services resource utilization. Assumes total line responsibility in cases of emergency as delegated.

Essential Duties:
Must have good writing and excellent verbal skills.
Must present a positive image for Clinical Resources and this facility.
Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, intervene in conflicts, mediate with staff and managers. Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member or team leader.

Education:
Graduate of a state accredited nursing program.
MSN

Experience:
A minimum of four years clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting or three years demonstrated leadership as a charge nurse.
Familiar with scheduling patient room assignments, staffing assignments, acuity systems, JCAHO.
Has developed and presented education sessions.
Has ! performed employee evaluations and assisted with orientation o! f staff.
Has experience investigating problems and provides solutions within the framework of best practice and nursing process.

License/Certification:
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
BLS required.
Crisis Training
