Job Description:
Great opportunity! This opportunity is located near Newark, New Jersey! Seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Education for a very reputable healthcare system consisting of multiple hospitals near Newark. These are some of the top rated hospitals and healthcare facilities in the nation. The Director of Education will be responsible for providing leadership for clinical nursing education across the health care organization. You will also conduct clinical research in collaboration with staff nurses, leaders,Clinical Nurse Specialists, or other Educators. You will also assume an advanced practice role in staff education, consultation,and research. Additional responsibilities will include designing curriculum components that foster innovation and collegiality among nursing and other disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires Master's preparation in nursing and/or education, or comparable graduate education. Has taught at the college level. Has experience in curriculum development. Will bring examples of classes developed and taught. Requires current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey. Requires progressive educational and clinical experience with at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
